In my uncle's garden

I'm at work, I have six critical bugs to fix (three of which I'm waiting on information from developers for) and one customer problem on AIX which is causing Sales to panic. There is no justice; I'm supposed to be ramping down!

I'm immensely glad it's Friday, though. I love weekends. Tomorrow we're going to see X2, and on Sunday we're going to my choir's performance of Puccini's Messa di Gloria. Normally I would be singing, but I didn't feel like signing up for two hours on my feet. It's a cool piece, though, so I'm going to attend anyway. Barring labour, of course.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Del coming on Monday; we'll have the weekend to hang out and get groceries and clean, and everything will be spiffy and ready to go.

Tonight the development team is going to The Rex for drinks, to celebrate the release of two of our product, neither of which have been released yet, I believe. Since it's "Go Out Toronto" day (the city is encouraging everyone to go out tonight to celebrate the WHO's change of heart on the SARS issue, and to boost the economy and try and convince the rest of the world we're not pestilent) I'll go and order a very expensive, um, soda. And maybe lobby for some appetizers.

It will be the second time this week that I'll be exposing my unborn child to excessive amounts of carbon monoxide; I went out on Wednesday night, my due date, to play trivia at a bar with some work friends. I'm cool.

No news labour-wise. Should I walk lots on Sunday to try and bring labour on for Monday? Or will that just tire me out?
